Population--What’s the population of the country?  Compare this to the population of the US.  (The US population is 307,006,550.)  Where do the people live in this

    According to Central intelligence Agency (CIA) the population of Switzerland is 7,996,026 (https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/geos/sz.html). The US has about 300,000,000 more people than Switzerland. The CIA website says that Zurich, Switzerland has about 1.143 million people and that Bern, Switzerland has 346,000 people. Bern is also the capital of Switzerland. 

Agriculture-- What types of agriculture do they have and what type of diet do they have? country?  Rural areas?  Urban areas?  What are some of the major cities and their populations?

   According to the CIA website switzerlands agriculture is mostly grains, fruits, vegetables; meat, eggs. (https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/geos/sz.html).

   

Industry and Tourism-- Are industry and tourism related to geography and climate?

    Switzerland's industry is mostly machinery, chemicals, watches, textiles, precision instruments, tourism, banking, and insurance (https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/geos/sz.html).

Cultural Activities-- Are their cultural activities related to geography and climate?  Are there any notable historical events that add to the climate/culture story?

  An Historical information regarding Switzerland is that during World War II this country decided not to pick a side, they wanted to be a neutral country during the war.
