Switzerland's Contribution to Climate Change

Both of these graphs show carbon dioxide concentrations in the air. Switzerland compared to most other countries does not put off very much carbon dioxide. Compare to china and the United States, Switzerland does not even put out any carbon dioxide in the air. In 2010 china was at fault with how much CO2 emissions that was produced in the air.

Switzerland uses mostly liquid carbon about 80,000 metric tons of carbon. Because the country is so small they do not use very much carbon gas which is very unusual.

Switzerland made a vertical jump in about 1948 in per capital uses of metric tons of carbon.  They made a peak in 1975 and has gone down since then for the most part. There is about a 30% difference in the United States per capital and Switzerland because that country is so small that they do not have to drive very far or as much to get around their country.

This is a graph of six different counrties and what their total fossil fuel emissions are. the data for the graph can be found on this website http://cdiac.ornl.gov/trends/emis/tre_coun.html
